Torque Wrenches
Norbar® Torque Tools manufacture an extensive range of high quality torque wrenches to cover torque values from 1 N·m to 2000 N·m. They are designed and manufactured to meet international standards for accuracy.
In addition to the normal 'adjustable' torque wrenches, Norbar offer Production 'P' Type versions which can be pre-set and dedicated to a particular application. This setting system is designed to discourage unauthorised alteration.
All Norbar torque wrenches are offered as standard with a quality ratchet. For applications where interchangeable end fittings are required, 'Torque Handles' are also available in various models up to 650 N·m.
Industrial Torque Wrenches
The industrial range of torque wrenches are Norbar's most robust, giving accurate results to ±4% even in arduous working conditions.
Models are available to cover 100 – 1500 lbf·ft (120 – 2000 Nm) and can be supplied as adjustable or pre-set 'P' Type models. A Torque Handle version is also available to cover 130 - 550 N·m.
Professional Torque Wrenches
The 'Professional' is Norbar's core torque wrench range containing the most popular models and the most model variants to suit almost every application, including Adjustable, 'P' Types and Torque Handles.
The 'Professional' offers an ideal combination of accuracy (+/-3%), robust construction, comfort and ease of use.
Models are available to cover torque requirements between 100 – 1100 lbf·ft (130 – 1500 Nm).
Electronic Torque Wrenches
The NorTronic® is an electronic torque and angle wrench capable of measuring, displaying, storing and transmitting test results and receiving configuration settings from TDS (Torque Data System) PC software via a USB or wireless interface.
Models are available to cover torque requirements between 3 – 240 lbf·ft (5.00 - 330.00 N·m).
Non-Magnetic Torque Wrenches
The use of high power magnets is increasing in certain industries, and the use of conventional steel tools can be dangerous.
Norbar have developed a solution by replacing the ferrous components in a standard Norbar wrench, resulting in a tool with an extremely low magnetic footprint, whilst retaining the high standards of all other Norbar wrenches.
Models are available to cover torque requirements between 35 - 180 lbf·in (4 - 20 N·m) and 8 - 35 lbf·ft (10 - 50 N·m).
Insulated Torque Wrenches
Using injection molded Nylon 11, Norbar's insulated torque wrench complies with IEC 60900:2004 and is more durable than the traditional PVC dipped insulated tools.
8.00 - 44.00 lbf·ft (12.00 - 60.00 N·m).
Electrode Wrenches
Electrode Torque Wrenches are for torque tightening of carbon electrodes up to 2360 lbf·ft (3200 Nm).
The 8" diameter electrode wrench uses the professional torque handle as the control mechanism, above 8" use the Industrial torque wrench.
Models are available to cover torque requirements between 33 – 2360 lbf·ft (44– 3200 Nm).
